The meeting will take place at Hotel Pestana Cidadela, located in the beautiful coastal town of Cascais, 30 km west of Lisbon. The municipality of Cascais, also known as the Portuguese Riviera, starts at the estuary of the River Tejo and stretches from Carcavelos beach to the Guincho Beach, against the backdrop of the breath-taking Sintra-Cascais National Park. Cascais is surrounded by popular beaches: in the northwest, the Guincho Beach offers the ideal setting for surfing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing, while the calm waters of the beaches to the east attract sunbathers. The lush Sintra mountains to the north are a further attraction. The shoreline to the west has cliffs, attracting tourists who come for the panoramic views of the sea and other natural sights, such as, the Boca do Inferno. It is also becoming a popular golf destination, with over 10 golf courses nearby.

The venue has a large conference room, with comfortable seating and modern audio-visual systems for presentations. Poster presentation sessions will be held in the adjacent halls and rooms. Dining is located in the same hotel to promote scientific interactions as well as informal interactions among the participants.

Accommodation will be arranged by the Course Organizers at Hotel Vila Galé Cascais and at Hotel Pestana Cidadela. Participants will be provided with shared (double or triple occupancy) accommodation and senior invited speakers will be provided with single occupancy rooms. Requests for a single room are subject to availability, and this will be charged at an additional 75EUR per night. All rooms are equipped with the necessary appliances, private bathroom, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The two hotels further offer outdoor swimming pool and gardens with views of the Atlantic Ocean, fitness and wellness centers, restaurant and bars, and parking.
